Georgia Rink – Sponsored Rider

Our sponsored rider, Georgia is 15 years old and has been riding since she was 6.  She has grown up living and breathing horses with her family on 20 acres at Bellbowrie which is 30 min from Brisbane city.  From a young age, Georgia was able to ride a mele of horses which has set her up to ride in many different disciplines from winning champion hack at age 7 at the local Brookfield show to her love of jumping and dressage which was ignited when she won the Qld State Pony club 10 and under showjumping.

Georgia progressed from state level to interschool national level where she was the National CT champion and Res champion for dressage.  This was on a young ex-racehorse forming a strong partnership which is taking them through to the upper levels of eventing.

The last few years Georgia has on two different horses been State Eventing Champion and was also awarded the Qld EA pre novice horse of the year for 2017.

From these results, Georgia has been selected in the Qld High-Performance Young Rider Squad for 2018 and is one of the youngest participants.

Georgia is a dedicated rider and is also passionate about the welfare of her horses which means she devotes many hours before and after school to training and their care.
