Vet Gold Is A Website Owned and Operated By Dr Andrew Watts
He began his Veterinary career after graduating from University of Queensland Veterinary School in 1990 and headed to the famous Beef Cattle region and home of the largest sale yards in the Southern hemisphere – Casino. Split passions between a lifetime commitment to Bovine or Equine work became decisively equine after a serious bout of Leptospirosis following pioneering embryo transfer work with Limousine cattle. From that life threatening point on his Equine focus became all embracing. After spending time with a lifetime mentor – Dr Lester Walters at Eagle Farm Equine Services, Andrew began North Coast Equine Veterinary Services which still operates today at Corbould Park Caloundra.

Andrew then headed to the Middle East for 14 years working in Oman for the Royal Cavalry, Dubai for Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Bahrain for Sheik Mohammed Bin Khalifa. After returning to Australia he realised the global demand for Australian made products, particularly equine and canine products and simultaneously the scope for development in the podiatry industry.
Following the success of HOOF GOLDTM and increasing demand from Veterinarians, Farriers and clients we embarked on producing our next generation of formulas.
We are proud to announce the release of our two new formulations, BONE GOLDTM and COAT GOLDTM in both the Equine and Canine presentations. Both of these new products have been produced with the same attention to detail with the highest quality pharmaceutical grade ingredients manufactured in an APVMA CLASS 2 registered and certified Laboratory.
Extensive research and development in conjunction with clinical testing and observation by Veterinary Surgeons on clinical equine and canine cases are conducted on all our products.
